According to Public Relations and International Affairs of Qeshm Free Zone Organization, Hormoz Amiri said: The value of this consignment was $ 196,000, and the cargo was shipped to Africa by the Kaveh dock of Qeshm.
According to him, this is the 10th consignment shipped by Qeshm Cement Company in 1397, which began its loading on the MV AMINA H ship, and will move from Kaveh dock to Africa at the end of the week.
Amiri said: Cement Company is one of the companies under the protection of Qeshm Free Zone Organization, which has started its activities in this area since 1397. And During this time, the company has exported its products to 13 Asian and African countries, including Iraq, UAE, Kuwait, Egypt, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Saudi Arabia, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Sri Lanka, India, and Pakistan.
The Director General of Customs and Transition of the Qeshm Free Zone Organization said: Part of the products of this Qeshm industrial unit is consumed in the domestic needs sector and the remainder in the export sector.
Qeshm Island, with 1,500 square kilometers of breadth, is located in southern of Iran; and more than 200 industrial units, including the Cement Company, operate in this area.
