According to Public Relations and International Affairs of Qeshm Free Zone Organization, Muharram Baharvand said: The gas project to Tula Industrial Town with a credit of more than 15 billion rials has come to light since April 2018, and now has a 50% physical advance.
He continued: The intubation route in this project is 7,500 meters and is made of polyethylene. Also, a gas pressure reduction station at the beginning of the transmission line will be constructed, which will control the volume of inlet pressure in accordance with the needs of the industrial town.
According to Baharvand, the project will be ready to open and operate on the occasion of the Fajr decade.
Qeshm's Free Zone Organization technical and development assistant, emphasizing that gas is the cleanest and cheapest oil product, said: Reducing plant contamination by changing fuel consumption from diesel to gas, reducing environmental damage, and also reducing costs and thus increasing the profits of factories.
Qeshm Island, with an area of 1,500 square kilometers in southern Iran, having become a free zone in 1992, has provided growth and prosperity through the creation of four industrial towns, using special privileges and regulations, and supporting foregin and domestic private sector investors have begun. So, it is expected that in the next few years, the region will become an important industrial hub in sectors such as oil, gas, fisheries, water and electricity production, and a number of other industrial products.
